Job overview
We are recruiting for a Housekeeping Training and Support Co-Ordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This position is responsible for ensuring that ward housekeepers and ward staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet food safety standards.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for monitoring national standards, highlighting corrective action as necessary and developing an effective routine, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
You will ensure the agreed standards of food service are being achieved and maintained.
Within your role, you will provide support for the development of a clear and precise training programme, which is regularly reviewed and updated and deliver this training to provide a safe, high quality and efficient food service to patients.
You will also ensure up-to-date training records are maintained and all training evidenced.
You will support with the development of policies and procedures affecting the hospitality service as necessary.
Additionally, you will participate in internal and external audits and assessment of our standards of practice relating to the hospitality service.

Essential criteria
- • Good standard of general education
- • Previous Customer Service experience
- • Previous Hospitality experience at supervisory/team leader level
- Previous general administration experience
- • General administration procedures
- • Health and Safety / Risk Assessment training or willingness to undertake
- • Food Safety qualification at level 3 or willingness to undertake
- competent in Microsoft Office and ability to use email, internet etc
- Ability to train others
