Job overview
We are looking for an administrative officer to join our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in Hitchin, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Teams. We currently have 3 Part-time posts available for 22.5 hours per week however we are also able to consider a full-time roll covering two teams for 37.5 hours per week.
The Post holder will be based in one of the three sites:
- Barnwell Middle School (Stevenage)
- William Ransom Academy (Hitchin)
- Ridgeway Academy (WGC)

Main duties of the job
You will co-ordinate information and provide administration and clerical support in order to facilitate the effective running of the service. This will include diary management, comprehensive management of data such as annual leave, sickness and attendance reports on behalf of the Team, filing, and ensuring maximum efficiency of processes. It is essential that you have GCSE in English Language and Mathematics Grade C or above or equivalent.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will be proficient in the use of a wide range of IT packages, have experience of organising and prioritising diaries and schedules, and experience of organising and taking minutes in meetings. You will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision and on your own initiative to achieve deadlines.

- Educated to Secondary Level with GCSE maths and English level 2 or above
- Extensive experience of working in an office environment
- NVQ3/RSA3 or equivalent experience

- Experience in healthcare/education setting

- ECDL qualification
