Every day, every hour, HUC is here to ensure everyone receives the medical help they need.

Serving 4.5 million patients across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, West Essex, and the Southwest, HUC delivers exceptional NHS 111 and Out of Hours GP services — 24/7, 365 days a year.

Now, we’re expanding our services in Somerset, and we’re looking for people like you to join our team.

Whether you're new to healthcare or bringing valuable experience — you can make a real impact.

  • No healthcare experience? That’s okay — we provide full training.
  • Already have experience. Put it to use in a role where your work truly matters.

 What We Offer:

  • Fully paid 6-week training
  • Variety of rota patterns ranging from 35 hours per week to 12 hours per week.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

Your Role:

· First Contact: Manage urgent and non-urgent cases, providing essential medical advice.

· NHS Pathways Software: Assess patients’ conditions and direct them to the appropriate healthcare professional or service.

· Advanced Training: Use your advanced listening and probing skills to ensure every patient receives clear advice and is signposted correctly.

Please note that training is for 6 weeks, 9am-5pm regardless of contracted hours.
