The position is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to hone their non-invasive skills, including ambulatory ECG analysis, remote ILR analysis and leading exercise tolerance tests. Depending on previous experience, there may be opportunities to further develop in-person and remote pacing follow-up knowledge and skills with support from BHRS accredited physiologists.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder is expected to use their experience and knowledge to provide a highly professional standard of care. The successful candidate will have BSc in Clinical Physiology, or equivalent, and be expected to have a level of skill and autonomy appropriate to the Band 6 level.
Independent non-invasive technical expertise will be expected during ambulatory ECG analysis and exercise tolerance testing.
Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience supporting ILR and/or brady PPM in-person and remote follow-up. The post holder must have a desire to achieve BHRS Devices certification, or recognised equivalent, and will be supported by the department throughout the certification process.
The successful candidate will contribute to service improvements, departmental audits, clinical governance and quality assurance. Active involvement in the personal and professional development of other cardiac physiologists and assistant cardiac practitioners is expected.
