111 is a non- emergency telephone service providing immediate advice using the Pathways system. As a call handler, you will be at the forefront of providing vital guidance and support to individuals in need, directing them towards the right care and offering reassurance during stressful situations.

You must be able to commit to 6 weeks full time training, 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday.

Main duties of the job

  • Key responsibilities

    · Answering inbound calls from patients and healthcare professionals, actively listening to their concerns, and gathering accurate information.

    · Providing advice and signposting patients to the most suitable healthcare service or specialist.

    Requirements

    · Excellent communication skills

    · Good IT skills, ensuring accurate information is inputted.

    · Willingness to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, handling high volume calls.
