Job overview

We are offering a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a confident, capable, and commercially astute Senior Contracts Manager or an experienced contracts manager ready to take the next step in their career, to take a leading role in strengthening how HUC manages its estate and supplier contracts.

You will oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring our arrangements remain safe, compliant, resilient, and aligned with organisational priorities. Your expertise will underpin strong governance, regulatory compliance, value for money, and consistently high standards of supplier performance across the organisation.

Working closely with Digital, Information Governance, Finance, and operational teams, you will drive robust governance, regulatory compliance, value for money, and consistently high standards of supplier performance.

This role is ideal for someone ready to make a significant impact, broaden their strategic influence, and contribute to a forward-thinking, values-led organisation.

Main duties of the job

•    Lead and manage the full lifecycle of estates and supplier contracts.
•    Act as the organisation’s Contract Lead, ensuring effective governance, monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
•    Support the monitoring and management of supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs, statutory obligations, and DSPT/CAF compliance standards.
•    Ensure suppliers meet procurement legislation and regulatory frameworks, including cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
•    Play a key role in creating a framework for managing existing supplier agreements and bringing new suppliers on board.
•    Provide expert contractual advice and support to internal teams.
•    Work with Finance to identify risks, variances, and cost pressures, maintaining oversight of contractual financial performance.
•    Produce accurate and timely contract and performance reports for governance forums.
•    Maintain up to date and accurate information within the contract lifecycle management system (CLM).
