Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As a Theatre support worker , you will play a vital role in the patient journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient safety: Ensuring the safe and dignified passage of patients through the theatre environment .
  • Patient Advocacy: Listening to patient concerns and escalating them to the appropriate clinical staff.
  • Clinical Excellence: participating in clinical audits and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Can demonstrate the key competencies of the Behavioural framework
  • Availability to work full range of duties including evenings, weekends , Nights and on-call
  • Able to work and communicate effectively within a large multidisciplinary team
  • Good Basic Education
Desirable criteria
  • Holds a CARE certificate , previous acute healthcare experience
