NHS AfC: Band 5
Trosolwg o'r swydd
Make a Real Difference as a Band 5 Night Nurse or Paramedic in East Kent!
We're seeking a passionate and skilled Band 5 Night Nurse/Paramedic to join our Urgent Care Service in East Kent primarily based in Ashford.
The East Kent Night Nursing Service provides care for patients overnight with an urgent clinical need such as end of life symptom management, verification of expected death and urinary catheter issues. Referrals are received from NHS 111, SECAMB, Out of Hours GP and directly from patients and relatives via our Local Referral Unit.
After a period of induction and consolidation you will rotate as the shift co-ordinator. This role includes triaging the calls and offering telephone advice or allocation for a clinician to visit.
It is essential that you are comfortable with lone working and possess the relevant skills and knowledge to work independently with minimal supervision.
A full valid UK driving license and access to a car is essential but don't worry – you can claim mileage costs and access the NHS car lease provision after your probationary period.
