Job overview
Community Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) – Band 2/3
Salary: £29,179–£31,312 (inc. HCAS)
Hours: FT preferred, some PT available. First 8 weeks require full-time training.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK – sponsorship not available.
You’ll work across a 7-day rota (7.5 hrs/day), including weekends & bank holidays. Shifts: 8.15–4.15 or 10.45–6.45.
The Role
Join Bromley Healthcare’s District Nursing Teams in Bromley, Beckenham, Orpington, or Biggin Hill, delivering care in patients’ homes. You’ll provide person-centred support for people with long-term conditions, rehabilitation needs, or end-of-life care, plus delegated clinical tasks (e.g. observations, wound care, catheter support) depending on your competencies.
Career Pathways
Band 2 Entry: For those new to care – full training provided.
Band 2 Development: For candidates with some experience, building skills via structured training.
Band 3 Competent: For experienced staff confident in a wide range of delegated tasks.

Deliver high-quality personal and clinical care to patients in the community

Support individuals with long term conditions, post-hospital care, and patients at end of life

Working autonomously but have access to the support and supervision of experienced community nurses.

Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing in our patient and carer communities
