Exciting opportunity has arisen in the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service Administration Team (EIP)
Calling all organised and motivated individuals!
The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Administrator to join their friendly service which is office based at Eastern Coastal Area Offices.
This role offers you the chance to be part of a supportive team providing crucial support to a dedicated clinical team. You'll work alongside supporting the Team Manager and Team Lead as well as providing Administrative support to the team clinicians and Duty Team.

Main duties of the job
- Supporting the team to action work requests via the Early Intervention Team and At Risk Mental State Service (ARMS) generic inbox, including the processing of referrals on the patient administration system (RiO) Having contact with patients, carers, relatives, and other external stakeholders.
- Typing letters and reports.
- Using the patient record system RIO (training provided).
- Taking and screening phone calls and managing the mailboxes.
- Ordering of stationery and other items as required via our SBS system (training provided).

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This role offers you the chance to be part of a supportive team providing crucial support to a dedicated clinical team. You'll work alongside supporting the Team Manager and Team Lead as well as providing Administrative support to the team clinicians and Duty Team.
What You'll Do:
- Be the friendly voice answering phones and responding to enquiries.
- Prepare and meticulously maintain clinical records and correspondence.
- Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks.
- Support the Early Intervention Service and the At Risk Mental State Service with Administrative duties when capacity allows.

Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
- Occasional indirect exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances
- Strong IT skills; Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word
- Confident in answering the telephone and taking accurate telephone messages
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident in booking and managing diaries
Experience
Essential criteria
- Two year’s experience of working in an Administrative/office
- Experience in taking meeting minutes independently
Desirable criteria
- NHS experience
