Engineering Operative - Maintenance Apprenticeship (Level 2)

2gether support the on-going maintenance of a large variety of estate, from buildings and boiler rooms to pathways and gardens, keeping patient and staff environments safe. Within this apprenticeship you will work as a member of the Estates team to support the co-ordination of estate operational and maintenance services throughout East Kent Hospitals.

 

This apprenticeship would involve gaining knowledge and skills to work within the engineering operations industry sector. Apprentices will learn how to carry out a range of engineering operations which could include ensuring machines and equipment used are maintained and serviceable, dealing with breakdowns, restoring components and systems to serviceable condition by repair and replacement, operating a variety of machines, fabrication and installations. The Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship will last a minimum of 12 months and will provide an excellent insight into aspects of Engineering Operations.

 

This is a trainee role that will study towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship with an external learning provider. It is an excellent opportunity to become an Engineer in an integral part of the business focusing on building services and maintenance.
