We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Sexual health nurse to join our caring and progressive team in Eastbourne.

Main duties of the job
Our team delivers high-quality evidence-based care to people to support their sexual health needs.
You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team dedicated to keeping people in Kent and Medway safe and well, now and in later life, by providing contraception, treatment for sexually-transmitted infections, and advice and support to maintain healthy relationships.
You’ll provide sound clinical judgement and leadership to support our team to safely deliver patient-centred care, and consistently monitor quality and progress in a challenging but rewarding environment.

- Nursing or midwifery qualification and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

- STIF Intermediate
Qualifications

- Evidence of Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice or willing to work towards a Sexual health qualification

- DFSRH

Essential criteria
- Experience in working within a sexual health service or infectious disease service or acute medical experience or other relevant discipline.

- Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages (E-Pay / E-roster/ TAPs/ CIS)

- Practical experience in managing health related projects/ complex caseloads
