We are recruiting for an Administrator who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of the Administrator’s role is to support the administrative team and Reception team within the Antenatal/Fetal Medicine Department in Women’s Services.
The role will include covering the Reception desks in the Department. In addition there will be a need to receive and make telephone calls, communicating in a polite and confident manner. Support will be required with general clerical and administrative tasks, data collection and entry, completion of regulatory documentation, maintenance of clear audit trail and other duties as required. This is a Monday to Sunday service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Supporting with day to day reception duties
Handling payments for scan images
Need to transport hospital notes from the department to other areas of the hospital using appropriate transportation
Answering the telephone in a professional manner and making calls as required
Dealing with any relevant paper work
Provide full administration support to the Antenatal/Fetal Medicine Department
Monitoring and checking emails
Responsibility for updating and cleaning databases, systems and spreadsheets
General office duties; appointment booking, photocopying, tracking and ordering patient notes, diary maintenance, stock ordering, audits
The post holder is expected to show initiative, managing priorities and workload using own initiative. There will be a requirement to work to deadlines using time management and organisational skills. The need to have good communication skills both written and verbal is essential, as is the ability to be able to work under pressure and make informed decisions when required.

- General education to GCSE level grades A-C or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience
