Job overview
The following post has become available within Kent and Medway Mental Health trust for a dynamic, self-motivated, forward thinking administrator.
The post will be within the Home Treatment (HTT) and Rapid Response (RR) team for 37.5 hours per week. The post holder will be required to cover day shifts and to cover absence as and when required.
The post will be based at Priority House although the successful candidate may be required on occasion to provide support to the other West Kent teams (ie Liaison Psychiatry at Maidstone and Pembury).
Main duties of the job
· To provide comprehensive admin support to the Team/Service
· To work with and alongside other Administrators
· Responsible for re-ordering stocks of office supplies.
· Responsible for replenishing forms/leaflets/documents in the workplace.
· Responsible for caseload management.
· To support Team Managers with staffing and booking NHSP/agency staff.
· To keep accurate and up to date service data records (ie Breaches and other key performance data)
· To collate and send agendas and take and produce meeting minutes.
· To use the Trust systems to record and check patient information.
· To monitor teams training and book as required.
· To maintain and update information noticeboards within the office.
· To be able to work under pressure and to specified deadlines.
· Expected to implement policies as directed by the trust/directorate for the department, ensuring awareness throughout the department.

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE in Maths and English Grade C or above
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 in Administration
Desirable criteria
- 5 GCSES’s Grade C or above
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous paid employment of administrative/office work for minimum of 2 years
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience would be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
- Basic Excel setting up of spreadsheets and updating databases
- Preparation of documents to high quality using word
- Use of outlook for updating of calendar and appointments
- Minute taking experience
- Prioritisation and organisation of workload and ability to meet deadlines.
