The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 560,000 people living in the south of West Kent and the north of East Sussex. The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs, and it operates from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.

Maidstone Hospital provides a wide range of complex and routine surgical and medical services and has the latest in diagnostic facilities. It is also home to the main base of Kent Oncology Centre, which provides complex radiotherapy and chemotherapy for patients throughout Kent and North East Sussex.

We are currently recruiting for Bank Domestic Assistants to cover vacant shifts across both sites.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills who are well motivated and hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Previous experience of working within a healthcare environment would be advantageous but not essential as on the job training will be provided.

As a Trust we appreciate that people applying for this opportunity will have bespoke daily commitments therefore this role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part time hours during the holiday or busy periods and you will only be required to work the shifts that you are available for upon booking.

  • NVQ Level 2 Cleaning & Support Services or relevant cleaning qualification i.e. BICS or Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate.
