We have an excellent full time opportunity,  on St Margaret's Ward within the General & Specialist Medicine Division at The Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate

We are looking for a person who has some previous experience of working in the specialty, but we also encourage applications from Senior Nurses or those from other health care environments.

Main duties of the job

To provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs.

By working clinically as a member of the nursing team you will work in partnership with the Ward Manger to 
provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership for a ward-based team of qualified and non-qualified 
staff. The post holder will be required to deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager and ensure a positive 
patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care. Leading clinical nursing practice 
within the clinical area. Securing and assuring the highest standards of clinical care with the support of the 
Matron and Head of Nursing. The effective management of clinical and non-clinical risk reporting to the 
Manager within the Directorate Clinical Governance Framework.
