We work closely with colleagues from other health, education and social care teams to provide an integrated team around
The post is for 37.5 hours a week but part-time hours would be considered.
We are currently working both face to face from clinics, within the community and also remotely which can be worked
Main duties of the job
To assess, plan and implement SLT interventions that support children with a range of speech, language and
To deliver evidence-based SLT interventions for children that support them achieving their identified health outcomes.
To develop integrated care plans in partnership with the child, young person and / or family recommending and supporting
To participate in clinical supervision and to work as part of an integrated team with Therapy Assistants, OTs, PTs, SLTs,
To actively work as a member of a multi disciplinary and multi-agency teams to provide high quality care to children and
To manage a caseload of children that on a daily basis consisting of children and young people with complex needs.
Additional Working Pattern: Mon- Fri 7.5 hours/day within core hours 8-18:00.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (HCPC)
- Degree in a health relevant subject (speech & Language Therapy)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of up to date clinical practice
Desirable criteria
- Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
Skills & Abilities
Essential criteria
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) Ability to organise own work
Desirable criteria
