Main duties of the job
Your duties will include:
- Providing skilled and specific physiotherapy support to treat and promote the independence of patients with a wide
variety of musculoskeletal conditions. - Carrying out a programme of treatment prescribed by the Physiotherapists. This can include the supervision of
patients individually, in the gymnasium or other group settings. - Being responsible for housekeeping tasks including monitoring, maintaining and cleaning physiotherapy equipment
and general tidiness of the department. - Being responsible for own documentation using Trust software and administration tasks as required.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths)
Desirable criteria
- Relevant level 3 qualification (NVQ / QCF Diploma or certificate of care / Advanced apprenticeship ) or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience working in a healthcare setting/ previous NHS experience
Desirable criteria
- Experience working within a MSK Physiotherapy team
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understands the role and remit of Unregistered worker; Knowledge of up to date clinical practice
Desirable criteria
- Awareness of developments in the NHS
Skills & Abilities
Essential criteria
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to organise own work
- Ability to cope with change
- Ability to use own initiative
- Good IT skills
- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner
- Owns or has access to their own car and ability to drive between sites
