Receptionist/Ward Clerk

Band 2

An opportunity has arisen for a friendly, organised person to become the new Receptionist/Ward Clerk in the Admissions Lounge at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. The Admissions Lounge opens at 7am and closes 5pm, Monday to Friday.

This busy role will involve greeting patients as they arrive on the day of their surgery, as well as liaison with the Admissions Nurse, Theatre Co-ordinator and the Medical Team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collating notes and admitting/discharging patients on the Allscripts system. Good communication skills and an upbeat attitude are vital for this role.

Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check at standard level.
