Administration Support Volunteer

Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services for the populations we serve.
As an integrated Mental Health, Learning Disability and Community Trust, Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
- Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
- Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Community physical health and well-being services for children and adults.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The organisation offers opportunities for medics, mental health and general nurses, allied health professionals, Psychology, administration and clerical staff, apprentices and volunteers.

Lancashire & South Cumbria Foundation Trust recognise and value the importance volunteer support is to us and our patients. We currently have a volunteer role available supporting the Home Treatment Team at The Mount in Accrington. Please apply by downloading the attached application form.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The aim of this role is to provide support to colleagues involved with the delivery of services and other essential activities, as well as providing valuable experience for volunteers. We ask that volunteers commit to at least one 4 hour shift per week, during the normal working hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Duties may include the following
- Greet visitors in a polite and friendly manner and signpost to correct service.
- Respond to enquiries in a polite manner and ensuring an appropriate response is initiated.
- Support staff in dealing with administration requests
- Photocopy leaflets for distribution
- Creation of word documents that support team function
- Taking and delivering messages if required
- Collation of information packs for colleagues patients and carers, and arranging for them to be sent to out.
- Help to maintain stocks of items such as leaflets, booklets and posters, including supporting to process deliveries
- Supporting with social media, such as taking team photographs and uploading to social media platforms
- Support with completion of Friends and Family (FFT) Tests or other Patient Experience tools
