Practice Based Educator - Quality and Patient Experience

Job overview

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and driven nurse or midwife with a desire to develop our workforce and make a positive difference to patient care? We are looking to recruit 2 Practice Based Educators to work alongside our Quality and Patient Experience team, educating and training our clinical workforce to proactively avoid harm to patients whilst in our care. The Quality and Patient Experience portfolio included quality and assurance, patient experience and care relating to falls, sepsis, VTE and nutrition and hydration. A vital aspect of this is recognition of patients who are at higher risk and prevention of harms occurring. 

We are looking to recruit 2 nurses or midwifes to work with us to plan, develop, coordinate and evaluate a programme of education and training across Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

To provide and deliver clinical education and training within the Trust. Promoting consistency and continuity of high-quality care, working with multidisciplinary teams to encourage learning and professional development. You will be required to maintain close relationships with other the Quality and Patient Experience Team and other Practice Based Educators (PBE).
