Choose Well - Choose WWL

Job overview

We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated qualified nurses to join the Treatment Room Nursing Team to cover all areas within the Wigan, Ashton and Leigh locality.

Community experience desired but not essential as full training will be given. We offer an excellent preceptorship programme supported by our education department.  We also promote and support professional development with many training opportunities available.

The successful candidates must be able to travel independently across Trust. The post is community based and post holders must be able to attend multiple appointments punctually every day whilst transporting all required equipment. Appropriate vehicle insurance will be required.

We have permanent part time hours (30 hours and 22.5 hours) working across a 7 day week.

Active/pending NMC registration is required for this post.

Advert will close once sufficient quality applications are received.

Please note: These posts are part-time and may not meet the minimum salary threshold required for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. Therefore, not all applicants who require sponsorship will be eligible. We encourage all interested candidates to apply, and eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants who may require sponsorship are advised to check the current visa requirements on the GOV.UK website before applying.

Main duties of the job

The primary function of the role is to work independently within the Treatment Room service by undertaking responsibility for clinic patients in a designated treatment room. The post holder will ideally have had previous extensive district nursing experience as the role involves lone working.

You will have a variety of clinical skills and be able to demonstrate continued professional development. You will have highly developed communication and personal skills. You will have the ability to work alone but still be a team player. If you feel you are adaptable, self motivated and able to respond to challenges then please apply.

An Enhanced DBS with Adults' Barred List check will be obtained during pre-employment checks.

Based in the Community division so you will need to be able to travel independently across Ashton, Wigan and Leigh.
