Business Administrator
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Facilities team as a Business Administrator. The Facilities team is essential in delivering services that help the Trust operate smoothly, including Catering, Restaurant/Retail, Domestic Services, and Porters (Logistics).
This role is exciting, diverse, and challenging, set in a dynamic, fast-paced, and supportive team environment. You will deliver administrative support for the teams, assisting with various projects. You should be highly organised, motivated, self-disciplined, and a true team player. Creativity is crucial for this position, as you'll need to design and create posters to communicate upcoming events, training sessions, new procedures, policies, and general news within the Facilities department.

Main duties of the job
The Business Administrator is responsible for assisting service leads with the administration that supports the day to day running and organisation of their service. This includes the Facilities departments of Catering, Restaurant/Retail, Domestics and Porters (Logistic).
A broad knowledge of administration is required, including the ability to creatively design and produce posters, which are used to visually communicate to the Facilities department of upcoming events/ training/ new procedures and policies and general news.
A flexible approach to work and problem-solving is essential. Also, a helpful manner and sensitive approach when dealing with complex and confidential information.

Essential criteria
- Work on own initiative within well established procedures and practices, with little supervision, referring to management when necessary.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and helpful manner
- Knowledge and skills of using computer software packages including Word, Teams, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Design skills via Microsoft packages or Canva to have the ability to create posters
- Maintain effective levels of communication within the team/service/divisional team(s) via face to face, phone and email
- Organisation skills to schedule meetings, take actions and minutes where appropriate.
