We employ over 9,500 staff, many of whom are internationally renowned and have won awards for their work.

Job overview

This is a key post in helping to ensure that we meet ambitious fundraising targets for our hospital Trust, developing our existing fundraising activity and creating new opportunities to raise income to enhance patient and staff experience.

The post holder will work closely with teams across the charity and our Trust to ensure that our activities encourage and attract growing support.

The ideal candidate will bring not only the gravitas and innovation to deliver exceptional results but also the creativity and ambition to see the charity's support increase across East Lancashire.

Main duties of the job

In collaboration with the Fundraising Team, develop and deliver the Fundraising Strategy to raise awareness, engage support, drive fundraising and increase charitable income.
