Job overview
The objective of the People Digital Programme is to deliver a connected, seamless and consistent people digital experience that empowers our people and releases time for patient care. The programme will be driven by user experience, professionally led, shaped by our target operating model and be enabled digitally.
The purpose of the Project Support Officer is to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the People Digital Team to manage the delivery of key project activities
Main duties of the job
- Act as a point of contact for the People Digital team, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders both internal and external, and referring to others as appropriate.
- Provide project progress monitoring and chasing, preparation of project paperwork.
- Undertake simple data analysis and production of project and change reports/charts as required.
- Be able to understand, create and make improvements to new and existing processes
- This is a wide-ranging role within the People Digital Team.
- Understanding of project management tools, techniques and methodologies
- Complete data entry as required and ensure data is regularly monitored, up to date, and stored in a way that is easily accessible to all relevant team members.
- The People Digital programme is fast paced, therefore, the post holder will be adaptable and able to work to deadlines.
- Ensure up to date with mandatory training and personal development.

The successful candidate will be employed by East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, but part of the corporate collaboration, OneLSC.
The five Trusts in Lancashire and South Cumbria (LSC), in partnership with the Integrated Care Board, have a joint vision for more collaborative central services. As well as closer collaboration across functions, the Provider Collaboration Board has agreed in principle that transactional operational central services should be brought together into one ‘umbrella’ service hosted by one of our NHS Trusts. This is known as a ‘Host Trust Model’.

- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy administrative environment
- Experience of arranging complex meeting, Preparing agendas, collating meeting papers and taking minutes

- Experience of working in a health care environment
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Diploma level qualification or experience gained in the workplace
- Experience of working within the NHS
- NVQ3 plus relevant experience

- Working and developing knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
- Knowledge of Data Protection
