Centralised Administration - Higher Clerical Officer

If you enjoy a role with variety and you have a flexible approach to work then playing a part in this exciting new venture in the new Estates and Facilities Centralised Administration Team could be for you.

This new team will be responsible for the generic administration support to the Division’s Managers and will give the post holder the window to develop their knowledge and skills.

An understanding of the need for confidentiality and previous administration experience is essential as is the ability to work both in a team and unsupervised.  This exciting new position will also be involved in the evolvement of the Trust’s 7 day a week working

Duties will also cover working within other departments in the Estates & Facilities Directorate including, General Office, Accommodation and Switchboard depending on staffing levels.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, motivated person who has the skills to be able to work within a team or unsupervised, flexibility is paramount – we have a flexible attitude to requested time off where this is possible, as we recognise that this is important to working relationships and work/life balance. Equally you could be asked to work on different sites, or cover an unmanned shift at short notice to meet the needs of the service.

Good IT skills are essential to this post as is being an excellent communicator.

The team is a small friendly group of staff who are very supportive of each other and who are driven by achieving excellent customer service and meeting the organisational needs.

As well as full job training, the trust also offers opportunities for other relevant training and development.

The post holder must have  experience in minute taking
