An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Agile Administrator to join the fantastic team in the Harbour, Hospital, Blackpool supporting the Ward Managers and Matrons.
You will have a caring and flexible approach to meet service requirements and will work well both in a team and independently. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is able to take on new challenges and provide the best possible service to clinicians, nurses and families alike.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and high standard of administrative service to the hospital; to ensure that a welcoming and professional greeting service is provided to patients and visitors; to ensure the smooth running of the admission and discharge process for patients and to ensure accurate and timely completion of data recording.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service, providing cover on various sites as directed by their Line Manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
The post holder will have knowledge of all the relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role as well as the ability to deal with non-routine activities that arise. Problem solving is an integral part of the role.
