Job overview

Full time 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post.

Here at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to provide senior HR support to our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team. This is a Band 8a,  full time role.
You will report directly to the Head of HR, and will be part of the wider Workforce and Organisational Development team.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone to join our team as a HR Business Partner, which is a role within the Workforce and Organisational Development function of the Trust, responsible for supporting IFM team and directly working alongside their operational managers to contribute to the delivery of the Trust’s and IFM objectives and strategy.
Your role will be to provide professional HR guidance and advice in relation to all staff groups in the Trust, including medical staff.
You will be an experienced HR practitioner, CIPD qualified or with equivalent experience, and you will be able to demonstrate a sound track record of advising and working with managers on people management issues. You will also support IFM discussing involving wider projects such as Culture and OD interventions and long term strategic workforce planning.
You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, an analytical mind and the ability to interpret workforce metrics and drive through improvements.
You will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HR policy, workforce issues, change management and complex casework.
The most important quality we are looking for though is the ability to form effective working relationships at all levels and because of this you will be someone who can quickly build rapport, and also have the ability to cope in a busy NHS operational environment, prioritising competing demands.

Working for our organisation

The role will initially be aligned with the IFM, estates and facilities, team who are key partners supporting the Trust to meet the needs through efficient and effective management of the estate and facilities.
In addition to the core HR business there will be opportunities to get involved in exciting transformation, service redesign and culture change work to transform the health and social care services for Bolton residents.

Please see attached job description and person specification for full detailed job description and main responsibilities.

Your development is important to us and you will have the opportunity to discuss your developmental needs on commencement, with a full PDP developed for you to ensure you are the best you can be in this role. So, if this role interests you, and if you are looking to join a truly wonderful NHS Trust where everyone is pulling in the same direction, then we look forward to hearing from you.
