Job overview

The post holder will be a key member of the Specialist Mental Health Midwifery team providing vital support to women throughout the perinatal period.

To provide an effective and comprehensive range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the service. 

To create and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, internal and external to the Trust, including the Greater Manchester Mental Health Team and other organisations, which relate to Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.

The Division is a Centre of Excellence for Women’s and Children’s services and has a credible and enviable reputation. We deliver over 6,000 babies and carry around 1500 gynaecological procedures each year, making us a specialist provider of health services for women, babies and their families in the North West Sector of Manchester and beyond. 
With births of around 6000 per year, Bolton is the ‘Supercentre’ for the northwest, providing high quality compassionate care to the women of Bolton, Bury, Salford and beyond.
Recent improvements have led to a stronger focus on providing safe and compassionate care and this has increased opportunities to learn, develop and expand your career.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English and Maths A-C (9-4)
  • Experience of working with a range of Microsoft office packages
  • Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent demonstrative experience
  • Customer Service Level 2 or equivalent demonstrative experience
Desirable criteria
  • Awareness of Perinatal Mental Health
  • Previous experience of patient administrative role

Clinical Skills

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working within a healthcare setting
