We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our Waiting List & Procedures team in this challenging and demanding, yet rewarding role.  

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for managing the waiting lists and theatre schedules of individual consultants, laser and injection lists, with strict adherence to Trust protocols, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.  They will also be required to work with all our clinical service departments to ensure the delivery of the 18 week referral to treatment pathways.  

You will have excellent communication, leadership, operation and inter-personal skills and must have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Trust's waiting list booking processes and the systems that support this function, along with PTL management and most importantly Flex experience.

Qualifications & Education

Essential criteria
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • ECDL or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • Efficient in the use of Microsoft Windows applications

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experienced in the use of Quadramed.
  • Understanding of the Waiting List processes including 18 week pathways
  • Understanding of theatre scheduling
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Understanding of Information Governance, Data Quality, and its requirements
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
Desirable criteria
  • Overview of the Health Records and Booking Service functions
  • Understanding of the NHS processes including 18 week pathways
