Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a B6 Physiotherapist to join the integrated Pennine Lung service based at the royal Oldham hospital as part of the wider Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are looking for experienced, motivated and well organised individuals with highly developed skills within respiratory care to join the integrated Pennine lung service.

You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and an appropriately experienced practitioner in respiratory. You will need to be a registered physiotherapist who can demonstrate your commitment, enthusiasm and drive to develop your own clinical, managerial and team working skills within the service.



 

Main duties of the job

The post is full time, focused on general physiotherapy care for our respiratory patients including breathlessness management, chest clearance and exercise programmes with a focus on Pulmonary Rehabilitation through group, home and virtual sessions, as well as managing our long COVID syndrome cohort inputting into assessments MDT and ongoing support through long COVID rehabilitation. You will increase your skills across the service inputting into admission avoidance and acute management through the Virtual ward and virtual hospital model for respiratory pathways.
