Job overview

Applications are invited for a Planning, Performance Quality Administrator to provide a comprehensive service to the NHS Talking Therapy teams at various locations across Lancashire. The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

The post holder will be office based and work at Pathways Resource Centre  with the potential to have to travel to other NHS Talking Therapy bases and required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service, providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Administration Line Manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.

We are now looking to recruit until the end of September 2026 a Planning, Performance Quality Administrator who is passionate about having a key role in maintaining systems and databases to support service planning and the monitoring of performance and quality indicators for services. This post will involve data input, ensuring accuracy of data, the retrieval of data and information by running queries and producing reports as required.

The post holder will also support and attend team waiting list meetings as required.

The post holder will be aligned to the administration team and will be required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the administrative service.

Evidence of relevant previous experience, a good general education and excellent communication and organisation skills are essential.  Knowledge of working within the NHS will be an advantage and computer skills will be essential.

The successful applicant will require a flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team.  They will also be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.

Education

Essential criteria
  • 5 GCE’s grade C or above in including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent
  • ECDL or equivalent
  • NVQ 3 / RSA Grade 3 or equivalent

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of effective admin systems and ability to apply to work
  • Knowledge and awareness of working with people making health related changes

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Working in a customer services environment, dealing with individuals face to face nd by telephone.
  • Administration of meetings – organising, minute taking
