Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Digital Services Department for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual for the post of Systems Developer within the technical systems development team.

The post holder will be a key contributor to the success of the Technical Systems Development Team in providing high-quality development and system support skills focussed on developing and supporting system integration solutions. The team play a critical role in ensuring patients are supported through innovation, with a number of developments having received national recognition.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve the design, implementation, testing, maintenance and future development of solutions, working with both internal and external systems. The post holder will provide technical support, as well as develop and support solutions on the trusts platforms. 
The individual will need good communication and organisational skills, and have the ability to work on your own initiative.  

The post holder will be able to work remotely with the occasional visit to site required.

  • Educated to degree or equivalent standard.
  • JavaScript (or equivalent scripting language)
  • SQL Server

Knowledge

  • Experience in writing SQL queries to retrieve, update and insert data
  • Understanding of relational databases.
