As an integrated Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) delivers a comprehensive range of services, including:
- Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults, including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care.
- Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Extensive community physical health and well-being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The organisation offers opportunities for medics, mental health, general nurses, children’s nurses, allied health professionals, psychology, administration and clerical staff, apprentices and volunteers, as well as those specialising in learning disabilities and community physical health services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Programme Management Office (PMO) as a Senior Project Manager.
We are seeking a highly experienced, confident and delivery focused Senior Project Manager to lead and support the Programme Management Office team in the delivery of locality, corporate and trust-wide projects in various locations within Lancashire & South Cumbria. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivery and the passion and enthusiasm to drive forward sustainable change. This exciting role offers an opportunity to work within an established project management environment with a diverse range of services.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and deliver large-scale projects across Lancashire & South Cumbria
- Provide project assurance to all levels of the Trust
- Develop and embed project management best practice
- Actively lead and work closely with localities, including Directors, Operational Leads, Clinical Leads and corporate functions / colleagues.
- Develop and enhance the PMO and Trusts reputation and relationships internally and externally. This will include senior members of the Trusts Clinical networks, corporate functions, external partners and contractors.

- Educated to relevant degree level or equivalent.
- Prince2 (Practitioner level) or other equivalent project management qualification.
