Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. We employ more than 6,500 staff, have approximately 900 beds and have a planned turnover in excess of £410m for 2017/2018.

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a permanent part time housekeeper to work on Ward 2 Clifton Hospital .
You would be expected to work 20 hrs. per week over two days- Saturday and Sunday. Flexibility to the needs of the service would be expected.
Previous Housekeeping experience within the NHS would be an advantage.

We are a 24 bedded Ward specialising in Rehabilitation and Complex discharge for adults with Long term conditions.

Induction and training will be provided.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
