Administration and reception at Fertility Fusion

Provide Administrative and clerical/ reception support to the Administration Team at Fertility Fusion

 

Main duties of the job

  To provide a confidential, administrative and clerical service to the Fertility Fusion team.

 To cover general reception duties including booking patients in and out of clinics, arranging follow-up appointments as required and coding of outcomes.

Have a good knowledge of the basic computer packages.

Responsible for pulling, preparing and filing notes for clinics.

Ensuring all patient details are correct, including checking the central SPINE and updating as necessary.

Registering new patients and allocation of appropriate appointments and/or cancellation and re-booking as per patient choice.

Maintaining confidentiality as per GDPR and HFEA regulations.

Supporting the service with a flexible attitude and provide cover for colleagues during annual leave and sickness

To participate in the organisation of the busy reception and administration office within the fertility centre

First point of contact at reception,  greeting patients, organising patient notes for clinic. booking patients on to clinic

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of education including 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
  • ECDL or equivalent knowledge and experience

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous admin experience within NHS
  • Experience of working with the public
  • Experience of using Patient Centre (CSC), Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Central spine, Choose & Book (CAB)
  • Experience of office procedure
  • Previous experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable criteria
  • 3-5 years experience within NHS
  • Previous knowledge of working within a clinic setting

Essential criteria
  • Well developed organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work using own initiative and take direction
  • Well developed interpersonal skills to enable working autonomously as well as part of a developed team.
