Applications are invited for an Oncolplastic fellow based at University Hospitals of Leicester. 

This is a unique opportunity to joint one of the largest Breast Units in the country with links to Leicester University for a 1 year period ahead of your current post. Leicester Breast Services are provided in a single unit for the whole of Leicestershire, based at the Glenfield Hospital. The unit provides a full range of Breast services, including complex breast reconstruction, in a friendly and supportive environment by a large and committed Breast care team with a variety of specialist interest and skills. 

The successful candidate will be supernumery and will be expected to access the range of breast and plastics clinics (including combined reconstructions) to further their experience and knowledge. Access to Oncology clinics and services can also be offered. There are two all day breast theatre lists running 4 days per week and extra lista are sometimes run on the 5th day. There are 4 all day plastics theatres and 3 half day lists. The successful candidate will be expected to access these. 

A flexible job plan will be created for the successful candidate according to their wishes and the needs of the unit. The post is for 1 year. Applicants should have full registration with the GMC and it is anticipated (but not essential) that the successful candidate will be post CCT.
