Trosolwg o'r swydd

Lincolnshire is known for its diverse rural landscape, offering everything from cathedral views in the historical city of Lincoln to the rolling fields, market towns and coastal villages.

It also has some of the most affordable living costs in England.

As an occupational therapist working within the Adult Community Therapy team, you will have the opportunity to champion the key values of your profession.

We understand that through purposeful & meaningful activity we can support people to rehabilitate, recover and self-care. You will work alongside a knowledgeable & supportive team of therapists. We support one another to meet the needs of patients living in Lincoln, Gainsborough and all the villages in between.

Working beyond boundaries is the only way to support patients in their goals. We encourage creativity, inclusivity & thinking outside of the box.

Your caseload will be varied: you will have the opportunity to work alongside adults who are experiencing a range of long-term health conditions and acute deteriorations in their functional abilities. A key aspect of this will involve assessment of frailty and providing meaningful support for people with palliative health conditions.

We work closely with the wider multidisciplinary and multiagency teams to ensure that our patients receive high quality and equitable care.

If you are interested in this role or would like to find out a little bit more about what we can offer,  then please get in touch.

Gweithio i'n sefydliad

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is in the top 25 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2021 NHS National Staff Survey.

At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS’ workforce.

LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives.  Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments.  Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.

We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an ‘earn while you learn’ apprenticeship programme.  Visit our Learning and Development page to find out more https://www.lincolnshirecommunityhealthservices.nhs.uk/join-us/learning-and-dev
