Job overview
LCHG are very pleased to be advertising opportunities for band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Assistant posts for the Adult SLT community service . We are looking for motivated individuals to join our forward-thinking and supportive team and provide SLT input to our patients in the Lincolnshire community. We deliver care to a variety of community settings including patient homes, outpatient clinics and nursing and care homes.
The successful applicant will be a enthusiastic team player who is keen to join a caring team.

Base/location preference can be discussed at interview but the posts will need to meet the geographical needs of the service as we operate county-wide across Lincolnshire.
We are highly committed to professional development and evidence-based practice, and there is support available within the wider service from a range of clinical specialists. We have a well-established local AAC Service and The East Midlands AAC Regional hub is based in Lincoln, with opportunities for training and joint working with AAC professionals from the hub. There is regular access to clinical supervision and CPD including countywide skill-sharing groups, and all staff participate in service improvement initiatives

Working for our organisation
Lincolnshire is a wonderful place to live and work. The county is predominantly rural and there is something for everyone.
At LCHG, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHG’ workforce.
LCHG recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments. Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.
We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an ‘earn while you learn’ apprenticeship programme.
