Job overview
Lincolnshire Talking Therapies is recruiting a Band 5 Partnership Liaison Officer to help deliver an ambitious communications and engagement strategy across the county.
This hybrid role is key to raising awareness of the service, strengthening relationships with partners, and supporting increased appropriate referrals into the service.
The postholder will work closely with the LTT Engagement Lead and liaise with LPFT Communications and Involvement Team to develop targeted campaigns, manage stakeholder communications, produce high quality content for digital and print channels, and maintain a strong social media presence. They will coordinate events, support media activity, and champion lived experience involvement through groups such as Voice2Change.
We are seeking someone with strong communication skills, experience in a complex organisation, confidence in handling sensitive information, and the ability to build effective relationships across clinical teams, partner agencies, service users and carers. The role requires excellent written skills, digital competence, and the ability to work proactively and independently.

Main duties of the job
Support the Engagement Lead develop and deliver a comprehensive communications and engagement plan aligned with service and Trust priorities. Produce clear, accessible content for newsletters, staff updates, websites, and social media, ensuring consistent branding. Lead targeted campaigns to raise awareness of Lincolnshire Talking Therapies and support appropriate referrals. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with service users, carers, clinicians, GPs, voluntary organisations, and wider partners. Create and manage a strong social media presence, including video and graphic content. Support media relations by drafting press releases, preparing briefings, and responding to enquiries in collaboration with the Communications and Involvement Team. Coordinate events, community engagement activities, and stakeholder meetings, occasionally outside core hours. Work closely with partner organisations, including the Lincolnshire Wellbeing and Recovery College, to strengthen collaboration. Collect feedback, support lived experience involvement and contribute to ongoing improvements in communications practice. Maintain accurate records, ensure GDPR compliance, and support evaluation through surveys and audits in duties of the post.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Working with the LPFT Communications and Involvement Team and reporting to Lincolnshire Talking Therapies Engagement Lead, develop and implement a comprehensive communications and involvement plan for the service, ensuring alignment with service and Trust wide objectives and national standards.
Deliver targeted campaigns to raise awareness of Lincolnshire Talking Therapies and maintain its reputation as a safe, effective provider of mental health support.
Liaising with the LPFT Communications and Involvement Team, establish and manage effective communication channels with stakeholders, including health and care professionals, service user, carers, GPs, voluntary sector partners, and other agencies and the public.
Produce and manage content for newsletters, staff updates, social media, and websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and accessible and in line with local and national branding guidelines.
Create and maintain a social media presence as a tool for engagement and information sharing, including creating video and graphic based content using appropriate design and video editing software.
Support media relations, including drafting news releases, preparing briefings, and responding promptly to media enquiries in collaboration with the Communications and Involvement Team.
Coordinate events and engagement activities, occasionally working outside core hours to support meetings, workshops, and community events.
Liaise with partner organisations, including the Lincolnshire Wellbeing and Recovery College, to strengthen collaborative working and enhance service visibility.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
- Postgraduate qualification in communications or related discipline.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Proven experience in communications within a complex organisation.
- Skilled in handling sensitive information and managing stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver communications and involvement plans and evaluate outcomes
- Experience in media relations, internal communications and social media management.
- Experience of engaging a wide variety of audiences and undertaking involvement and co-production activities
Desirable criteria
- Experience in NHS or similar public sector environment
- Project and event management experience.
Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build trust at all levels
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to travel to locations across the county without the use of public transport

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Video production and editing skills.
