Job overview

This involves working closely with all key members of the multi-disciplinary team within primary and secondary care and service users relating to the specialty they cover to ensure all patients receive a consistent and effective service.

The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of line managing staff, working with various staff groups and excellent communication skills.

Main duties of the job

To provide effective and efficient clerical support to the Women’s Clinical Management Group as part of the administrative team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals.

To help in managing staff and resources for the Department.

To provide support to and to deputise for the Clinical Pathway Manager

To understand a vast range of routine work procedures and to use such knowledge and experience to advise and train others.

To be responsible for planning own work within the boundaries set by the service Manager and within set guidelines and protocols in the Department.

  • Relevant experience of working in an environment with the Public.
