Are you an experienced Band 6 dietitian looking to expand your expertise in respiratory, surgery and critical care? Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives? Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own clinical caseload across the areas covered by the team: surgical, respiratory, acute medical, cardiology and critical care wards. They will also need to supervise more junior staff and dietetic students as required.
The successful candidate will thrive when working closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be keen to develop their skills in service development and audit as well as their clinical knowledge. - Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice
- Additional qualification or BDA accredited courses or equivalent in-house training e.g. PENG clinical update,

Experience
Essential criteria
- Broad range of clinical experience, across a variety of clinical areas to include nutrition support in both in and out-patients
- Experience of working within an MDT
- Presentations to groups/teaching other Healthcare Professionals
- Student training/ supervisory skills
- Active participation in an audit or project
Desirable criteria
- Experience and competencies in complex ITU patient management and Parenteral nutrition
- Motivational Interviewing/ Behaviour Change training (CBT or facilitation skills)

- Proficient use of PC & working knowledge of Microsoft Office and nutritional analysis software
