Band 4 Contracts Depository Administrator – Substantive - 37.5hrs
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Performance and Contracts Team for an enthusiastic Contracts Depository Administrator. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of NHS systems and a willingness to develop these skills. There will be a diversity of challenges and opportunity if you are successful with your application; please read the job description for further information and to confirm your suitability against the person specification.
Main duties of the job
This post will allow the successful applicant to play a supporting role in the Performance and Contracts team with accountability to the Director of Performance and Contracts. Ideally you will have worked within an NHS environment with a proven track record of developing relationships and working with a range of cross-organisational stakeholders and successfully supported a team/s to deliver organisational priorities. You will have or be able to develop the skills of supporting the development and ongoing daily maintenance of the Contracts Depository and the Performance and Contracts Shared Drive/s.
You should possess good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to work and enjoy working as part of a team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will support the development and ongoing daily maintenance of the Contracts Depository and Performance and Contracts Shared Drive.
Support the team to ensure that Contracts are developed and reviewed within a specified time frame.
The post holder will be responsible for the participation in the provision of a high-quality service with-in and external to the Trust.
The appointee will need to work with supervision but have the capability of working independently using their own initiative. Possess good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to work and developing new skills.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential criteria
- Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
- Significant administrative experience, including initiating and maintaining systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.

- Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to staff and service users Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task Effective team working
