Job overview
Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough.
This role is to provide senior clinical leadership for the One Bromley Local Care Partnership, including responsibilities for developing the primary/secondary interface. The post holder will have specific duties and responsibilities but is expected to support the One Bromley clinical leadership function and the Senior One Bromley Clinical Director. The role will include development of services in the community and specific care pathways
The postholder is expected to work very closely with ICB Executives and Directors in developing and implementing the right strategic approaches for Bromley. In particular, the postholder will be required to work with relevant Bromley ICB senior managers and senior managers at SEL level. The postholder may be asked to undertake, with mutual agreement, some leadership functions across the six boroughs.
Main duties of the job
1. Lead on the engagement with primary care and support improvements in quality in primary care
2. Oversight of the some of clinical leadership functions for Bromley and direct management of some clinical leads.
3. Clinical leadership for planned care, including oversight and co-ordination of all planned care pathways
4. Clinical leadership for diagnostics
5. Support the development of the primary/secondary interface
6. Lead the One Bromley Clinical and Professional Advisory Group, including development of agendas and the appropriate work programme
7. Liaise closely with other clinicians and professionals in Bromley, particularly those who leading on clinical effectiveness and quality

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Qualified care and/or clinical professional i.e. NMC, HCPC, social work register, GMC etc. Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Desirable criteria
- Certificate / qualification in programme management, service improvement or transformation
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of transformational/innovative service delivery, productivity and/or transformation policy implementation.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of being part of peer networks and collaborative working
- Cross organisational and/or professional boundary collaboration experience
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- An in-depth understanding of health and care provision and awareness of current ICS/system policies and priorities
- Champions the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion both within and outside of the organisation. Provide effective, inclusive and compassionate leadership ensuring all voices are heard and creating and nurturing a culture where staff feel safe to speak up.
Desirable criteria
- Good knowledge or cross professional transformation, digital solutions and innovative redesign.
