Job overview
We are looking to recruit a Referrals & Administrator to join our evolving Integrated Single Point of Access (iSPA) in partnership with Bromley Y This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic and innovative team, while also providing essential administrative support to Bromley CAMHS.
In this unique position where you will work across services with your main responsibilities supporting the Integrated Single Point of Access and help with its ongoing development but also provide support to Bromley CAMHs team.
Main duties of the job

To support staff within the ISPA multi-disciplinary team, by providing efficient and effective secretarial and administrative duties.

To accurately enter new referrals onto the system, ensuring timely responses to general enquiries.

Will work closely with other admin colleagues to enable team working and effective cover arrangements.

Ensuring all relevant demographic information is on the referral.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Responsible for upkeep of diaries, photocopying, e-mailing, maintaining an efficient filing system, filtering incoming enquiries and draft responses. Work on own initiative managing and prioritising workload. Ensures that post is promptly collected, sorted and scanned into RIO. Inform members of the team in a timely manner of any changes to systems and/or processes to ensure that all relevant documentation in relation to meetings, agendas, circulars and changes are readily available and disseminated. Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages. Responsible for booking future appointments where necessary and highlighting any problems e.g., passing on information regarding changes to appointments and DNAs and specific questions raised by patients etc. First point of contact post-holder must have experience and ability to relate to patients in a calm manner and recognise when to escalate queries for appropriate response.

Essential criteria
- Admin qualification at Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Good computer literacy skills including knowledge of word, Excel and outlook

- Ability to use database and spreadsheets

- Previous experience of working in a busy environment in a healthcare setting
