Main duties of the job

This is a critical, high-impact role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on relationship management in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven strategic leadership experience in private healthcare or NHS international relations
  • A successful track record in international business development, preferably with countries in the Middle East and Embassy stakeholders
  • Experience in delivering commercial growth strategies and developing new markets
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and cultural awareness — fluent Arabic is essential
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse complex financial and operational data

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As Head of Global Relations, the key responsibilities will include:

•    Lead and deliver the Private Care division’s international growth strategy
•    Build strategic, high-level partnerships with embassies, sponsors, and international healthcare stakeholders
•    Act as The Royal Marsden’s ambassador, presenting to global audiences and representing the Trust at international events
•    Work closely with consultants, directors, and senior leadership to increase international referrals and     drive revenue growth
•    Monitor global healthcare trends, assess competitor activity, and inform new business propositions
•    Oversee international account management, including VIP visits and in-country engagement
