These roles are full time (approx. 37.5 hours per week) and we require individuals who can work a mix of day, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Interview dates: Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th November
Main duties of the job
The post holder has responsibility for the provision of competent professional nursing care, to meet with individual needs of the designated patient population.
The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of such care to a specific group of patients, and take charge of the ward / department on a regular basis.
The post holder will organise own time and that of junior staff, delegating to junior staff and learners, and participating in teaching and education programmes for staff and patients.

- Currently registered with the NMC
- Demonstrates understanding of NMC code of professional conduct
- Actively engaged in CPD – must list activities in the last year to be shortlisted

- Demonstrates understanding of clinical supervision including supporting learners
- Demonstrated excellent time management with workload prioritisation
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills across disciplines
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate an understanding of the key professional issues in nursing and healthcare
- Experience of working in an acute care setting
- Able to identify own training and development needs
- Able to make decisions and prioritise care/service delivery
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of infection control standards
Other

- Flexible attitude to ways and hours of working
- Working knowledge of IT systems and/or willingness to undertake training in this
