Job overview

As an Urgent Treatment Centre General Practitioner, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients in urgent treatment settings. You’ll be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of conditions, injuries, and illnesses. The role demands a combination of clinical excellence and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Main duties of the job

Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide accurate diagnoses.
Prescribe medications and treatments, and provide follow-up care as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Stay updated with the latest medical procedures and best practices in urgent treatment centre.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Please see attached job description for more information about this role and working at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We are only looking for a number of GPs to work at Chase Farm Urgent Treatment Centre to cover the 4pm to 10pm and / or 6pm to 10pm evening shift Monday to Sunday. (Please only apply if you are only able to cover at least two evening shifts per week)

  • GMC Licence to Practice
  • Current GP Principle or Non-Principle in UK
  • If a non-principle then currently registered on a PCT Medical Performers List
  • MRCGP

Experience

Desirable criteria
  • 3+ years of experience in Primary Care
  • Previous experience of working in Emergency Department or Urgent Care Centre
