MSK Physiotherapist Band 6

Band 6

Job overview

Exciting Opportunity – Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist
Location: Chase Farm Hospital, London Borough of Enfield

We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our large, well-established, and friendly MSK team.

Our service has strong links with acute partners, and patients can be referred onwards via our Advanced Practitioner (APP) team when needed.

Why join us?

  • Be part of an integrated team working closely with therapy colleagues, health professionals in secondary and primary care, local authority, and voluntary sectors.
  • Make a real difference to patients in a diverse and multicultural North London community.
  • Enjoy the benefits of being on the edge of London – easy access to the city and nearby green belt.

About North Mid in the Community:
We have a long history of managing the health needs of the local population and pride ourselves on collaborative, patient-centred care.

Interview Information:
Please note that interviews will be face-to-face and include a practical component.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for assessing and managing GP referrals to our service, received via our highly regarded Self-Referral Portal. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and treatment skills.

What we offer:

  • Support from a highly experienced team, including 7 Advanced Practitioners (APPs)
  • Robust and flexible clinical support through:
    • Meaningful appraisals
    • Regular supervision
    • Protected CPD time
    • A comprehensive In-Service Training (IST) programme

Working for our organisation

North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system – consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS’s, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.

We are proud of our staff and want to ensure their training allows them to provide excellent clinical care. We are also a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George’s University Grenada, and for nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities.
