Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join the MSK team as a Highly Specialised Pelvic Health Physiotherapist role at Chase Farm Hospital, where you will work alongside another Band 7 Specialised Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, in a well established pelvic health service. The position is part time and is 0.4 WTE (15 hours per week).

This opportunity would be suitable for any Band 6 Physiotherapist with pelvic health experience or existing Band 7 interested in the role. 

Our service provides pelvic health physiotherapy to the patients of Enfield, with the majority of referrals are self referrals. 

Main duties of the job

To work as autonomous practitioner within the Pelvic Health Service, situated in the Musculoskeletal Department at Chase Farm Hospital. 

To provide a highly specialised assessment and intervention for own varied caseload of outpatients within the speciality of Pelvic Health conditions, including patients who may have highly complex presentations, with the aim of facilitating short and long-term self-management approaches to their condition. 

To be involved in the development of the Pelvic Health Service in consultation with the MSK Service Lead, striving to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness. 

To supervise, teach and appraise more junior, assistant and student physiotherapists as appropriate

  • Experience of teaching to uni-disciplinary/ multidisciplinary groups
